The thesis Styles of parenting and social skills in students of the V cycle of Primary Education of the Educational Institution N° 7082 Juan de Espinosa Medrano, San Juan de Miraflores- Peru, aims to determine the relationship between parenting styles and social skills, is a type of descriptive correlational study of non-experimental cross-sectional design, in which a survey was applied to 100 parents to know the type of parenting style and to 10 teachers to know the social skills of the students. The method used for data collection was the survey and the instruments that were applied were questionnaires, the first measured the levels of parenting styles and the second measured the social skills of the students. Regarding the results, this research determined the degree of good relationship between the parenting styles and the social skills of the students of the V Cycle of Primary Education of the Educational Institution N° 7082 Juan de Espinosa Medrano, San Juan de Miraflores- Peru. As evidenced by the general hypothesis test (p value or sig. Asymptotic (Bilateral) = 0.000 which is less than 0.05) and the figures.
