The general objective of the research was to determine the relationship between thinking and learning strategies of primary education students of the IESPP “María Madre” Callao, 2020. The sample consisted of 170 primary education students of the critical IESPP “María Madre” Callao. The method used was hypothetical-deductive; the design was non- experimental with a cross-sectional correlational level; The information was collected in a specific period, the survey technique and the data collection instrument were developed, it was a questionnaire that was used to collect information from the students via google forms. For the reliability of the instrument, Cronbach's alpha was used, for the critical thinking variable 0.801 and for the learning strategies variable it was 0.895. For the descriptive analysis, frequency distribution tables and the bar graph were made. And for the testing of the hypothesis it was carried out by Rho de Spearman. The research concluded that there is a good correlation between critical thinking and learning strategies of primary education students of the IESPP “María Madre” Callao, 2020. Being Spearman's Rho = 0.730 and pValue = 0.000 <0.05 ;. This confirmed the hypothesis and the general objective of the study.
