The objective of this research work was to: Determine how didactic strategies and the construction of mathematics learning are related in students of the primary education specialty of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Physical Culture, class of 2019. The study has a quantitative, applied approach, with a non-experimental – transversal – correlational design with two variables. The sample was made up of 30 Primary Education specialty students from the Faculty of Pedagogy and Physical Culture, class of 2019. The survey was used as a technique for collecting information on variable teaching strategies and construction of learning; The questionnaire for each variable was used as an instrument. The instruments were validated in content through the judgment of 3 specialists with a result of applicable and reliability value was with Cronbach's Alpha test with coefficients of 0.817 for the teaching strategies and .809 for the learning construction questionnaire, detailing a very high reliability. The results detailed that a significant relationship is manifested between teaching strategies and the construction of mathematics learning in primary education specialty students of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Physical Culture.
