The objective of this research work is carried out on the influence of teacher burnout on the work motivation of teachers in three public management educational institutions in the district of San Juan de Miraflores. The stratified random sample consisted of 123 teachers. The research had a quantitative approach, correlational scope, and non-experimental transectional design. The Oldenburg Burnout Inventory and the Work Motivation Scale were applied to collect information. The content validity and reliability of these instruments were evaluated, with the Aiken Validity coefficient and the Cronbach coefficient respectively. The data collected were analyzed with the Stanon scale for the qualitative levels of the variables studied, and with the Pearson correlation parametric statistical test (r) for the evaluation of the general hypothesis and the specific hypotheses. The findings showed the existence of a negative and moderate influence of teacher burnout on the work motivation of the teachers of the educational institutions studied, as well as on the intrinsic work motivation and the extrinsic work motivation of the participating teachers. It was also observed that the variation in the degree of positive influence of teacher burnout was concomitant with the work demotivation rooted in the teaching staff of the educational institutions “Juan de Espinosa Medrano”, “Inca Pachacútec” and “San Luis Gonzaga” of the UGEL N. ° 01. The findings were statistically significant at a probability level of p=0.05.
