This thesis reports research on the influence of Job Satisfaction on the Motivation towards educational work of undergraduate university faculty of a particular university in Lima. The stratified random sample consisted of 96 teachers. The research had a quantitative approach, was empirical applied type with correlal method and transverse non- experimental design. The Teacher Job Satisfaction Scale-Version and Multidimensional Work Motivation Scale tests were applied for information collection. The content validity and reliability of these instruments were assessed with the Aiken Validity coefficient and the Cronbach coefficient, respectively. The collected data were analyzed with Pearson's parametric statistical correlation test (r ) for the evaluation of the general hypothesis and specific hypotheses. The findings demonstrated the existence of a positive and moderate influence of teaching job satisfaction on the motivation towards the educational work of the university faculty surveyed, as well as on the motivation identified with the work of the participating teaching staff. There was also a high positive influence of teacher labour satisfaction on the intrinsic motivation in educational work, and a moderate negative influence of job satisfaction on the motivation incorporated into the educational work of the responders, and of a high negative nature on the demotivation of the teachers evaluated. The findings were statistically significant at a probability level of p.0.01.
