The work carried out on the family social climate and self-esteem in 5-year-old children of the Initial Educational Institution “Virgen de Fátima” Nº 018 Quirio - Chosica, 2018, has as its main problem: What is the relationship between the family social climate and the self-esteem in the 5-year-old children of the educational institution “Virgen de Fátima” Nº 018 Quirio - Chosica? and the objective was formulated to establish the relationship between the Family Social Climate and the Self-esteem of the 5-year-old children of the Educational Institution "Virgen de Fátima" Nº 018 Quirio – Chosica,2018. Quantitative thesis, belonging to the non-experimental descriptive correlational designs, the The members were 41 5-year-old children, who were chosen under a non-probability sampling. To collect the data, the checklists were used for both the family social climate variable and the self-esteem variable measured in their different categories. descriptive study indicated that 36.6% of the children present a bad tendency in their family social climate and also that 48.8% have an average self-esteem. Their main conclusion was: There is a significant relationship between family social climate and self-esteem in 5-year-old initial education children from the initial educational network Nº 018 “Virgen de Fatima” de Chosica -Quirio, 2017. (p <0.05; Rho de Spearm an = 0.819; represents a very high positive correlation).
