The aim of this research is to investigate the connection between reading habits and students' ability to produce texts. Using a quantitative approach and a descriptive-correlational design, the study analyzed 80 high school students through observation, surveys, and statistical analysis. The results revealed a considerable positive correlation (Rho = 0.633) between reading habits and text production in general, indicating that better reading habits are associated with superior skills in text production. However, no significant correlation was found between reading habits and text adequacy (Rho = -0.102). The research also showed that a good reading habit improves the organization of ideas (Rho = 0.616), grammatical usage (Rho = 0.553), and the ability to reflect in writing (Rho = 0.630). These findings suggest that fostering reading habits is crucial to developing coherent, organized, and reflective writing skills in students.
