The thesis was directed to diagnose a situational problem, with the objective of knowing the margin of incidence of the military instruction that intermediates in the academic training of the cadets of the Air Force School of Officers. The methodology was of a quantitative approach, of a basic descriptive type, with a cross-sectional and non- experimental design, a hypothetical deductive method, using survey techniques, direct observation and documentary analysis; the instrument was the structured questionnaire and the field guide. The population included the total battalion of 378 cadets and an indiscriminate sample of 88 people chosen by non-random sampling, applying the 20- question questionnaire structured according to variables and proposed dimensions, the responses measured in five ranges. The instrument, according to the expert judgment of five teachers with a doctorate in education degree, achieved a high reliability of 95.50%. For validity, Pearson's r inferential parametric statistic was applied, at a significance level of 0.05; the normality test showed a normal distribution, with a confidence level of 0.968. The result concluded that military instruction has a moderate impact on the academic training of the cadets of the Air Force School of Officers.
