This research analyzes a company in the commercial sector to address critical issues related to inventory management. The company reported an inventory turnover ratio of 4.88, which is significantly below the industry average, ranging between 8 and 9 among direct competitors. This low turnover reflects inefficient inventory management practices that hinder the company's operational performance. To tackle this issue, the proposed improvement combines Systematic Layout Planning (SLP), 5S, and the ARIMA forecasting model, aiming to optimize inventory management processes and enhance overall operational efficiency. The SLP methodology facilitates the optimization of product placement and workflow within the warehouse, ensuring that space is utilized effectively. The implementation of the 5S methodology enhances order and cleanliness by eliminating unnecessary items and streamlining work processes, which fosters a more efficient working environment. Furthermore, the ARIMA forecasting model improves the accuracy of demand predictions, allowing for optimized inventory levels, reduced operational costs, and prevention of unnecessary stock accumulation. The results of implementing these methodologies demonstrate a significant increase in warehouse operational efficiency, elevating inventory turnover from 4.88 to 8.76. This improvement translates into a reduction of operational costs amounting to 21,143.34 soles, better utilization of available space, and marked enhancements in workflow efficiency. Additionally, customer satisfaction has improved due to more timely delivery of products. In conclusion, the synergistic use of SLP, 5S, and the ARIMA model proves to be an effective solution for enhancing inventory management, reducing operational costs, and maximizing overall warehouse efficiency.
