The instruments were a validated questionnaire to measure eating habits and a data collection form for nutritional status. Results: eating habits were mostly regular (55.5%), followed by bad habits (28.1%) and good habits (16.4%). The nutritional status was mostly normal (42.2%), followed by overweight (28.1%), thinness (18.0%), and obesity (11.7%). In the food types dimension, most were regular (61.7%), followed by good food (25.8%) and bad food (12.5%). In the eating environment dimension, most were regular (57.0%), followed by a bad eating environment (35.2%) and a good one (7.8%). In the frequency of consumption dimension, most had a regular frequency (57.0%), followed by a bad frequency (28.1%) and a good frequency (14.8%). The chi-square correlation presented a significance of 0.001 for both variables.
