The primary objective of this research was to evaluate the positive impact of the content shared on the official Facebook page of Hernando de Soto, presidential candidate of the political party 'Avanza País,' on his online reputation during the period from January 2021 to April 2021. The methodological approach adopted was of a quantitative nature, supported by an explanatory research design. Data collection was carried out using the observation technique, and the research instrument used was content analysis sheets. Regarding the population, a total of 857 posts on the Facebook social network were covered, corresponding to the months of January, February, March, and April of the specified year. A thorough analysis was conducted on 265 posts (sample). The results indicated that 81.93% of the comments shared by internet users were identified as positive, with an additional support of positive comments in reposts, representing a total of 45.66%. This phenomenon was explained by an effective content strategy, highlighting social-related categories with 35.84%, professional-oriented content with 26.88%, and practical content accumulating 21.15%. Regarding the formats preferred by the community, reflected in the engagement achieved, graphic arts stood out with 25.98% and videos with 25.27%, respectively. Consequently, in terms of reputation evaluation, a favorable voter behavior was detected, evidenced by 98.53% of positive reactions ('like,' 'love,' and 'care'), 64.83% of favorable comments in response to other users, and 45.66% of shares with positive connotations
