Various studies of the theoretical concept of popular education in Latin America have been carried out over the last decade; ranging from the first publications of Paulo Freire in 1950 with "the pedagogy of the oppressed" to the movement of Fe y Alegría, until the new challenges that arise Latin America. So, we will analyze what those movements and explorations that emerged from the mass social context, at a Latin American level, that would forge popular education within Peru. Likewise, Ivan Illich's research on the school's deschooling in Mexico contributed to the creation of organizations dedicated to reforming the Mexican educational system, replicating his project in impoverished Latin American countries. The creation of projects and / or social movements for education throughout Latin America increased, with the social struggles, for the equity of social rights and inequalities of the South American countries. Likewise, publications such as "the theology of liberation", the mobilizations against the aristocratic republics in Chile, Argentina, Peru, Colombia, among others, generated a strong block of popular and union organization for human rights.
