This research is entitled "Use of community knowledge for the development of the cultural identity of boys and girls from an initial educational institution in the province of Grau, Apurímac" emerged with a problem that was evidenced during pre-professional practice. For this reason, a question was posed: How do teachers use the knowledge of the community in the development of the cultural identity of boys and girls in an EIB Initial Educational Institution in the province of Grau, Apurímac?, With the general objective of explaining the Teachers' use of community knowledge in the development of cultural identity in boys and girls of an EIB Initial Educational Institution in the Grau province, Apurímac. Likewise, the knowledge of the community that teachers use to develop cultural identity in students is identified and described. The research is empirical and descriptive. For the development of the study, two instruments were used such as the interview and the observation of the teachers, and only observation of the students, these instruments helped to collect the necessary information for the research process, then, the transcription of the entire information collected.
