The main objective of this research work is to identify the ethnomathematical didactic resources used by teachers for the development of the "quantity problem solving" competence in the I.E. Multigrade of the Quehuira community. The specific objectives are: to describe the different types of ethnomathematical didactic resources used by the teacher and to identify the strategies used by the teacher for the development of the "quantity problem solving" competence. It is part of the qualitative methodology and interpretive paradigm. Its level was exploratory, descriptive and ethnographic. The population consisted of 40 students from first to sixth grade and three teachersfrom the Quehuira I.E. The information was collected through the interview, observation sheet and photographic analysis. The results of this research show that teachers in their session planning propose some ethnomathematical resources to use in their procedure, for example, the taptana, the team in some cases to do the addition with knots and colors. Likewise, it was observed that teachers use unstructured resources consistently to develop basic operations and solve quantity problems in groups and individually.
