La ciudadanía en la teoría política contemporánea: análisis de los modelos de ciudadanía empleados en los textos escolares del Perú

Abstract

La presente investigación tiene como objetivo general analizar los modelos teóricos de ciudadanía empleados en los textos escolares gratuitos que provee el Estado. Como objetivos específicos la investigación propone: 1) identificar las diversas visiones teóricas de ciudadanía existentes; 2) identificar dichas visiones teóricas en los textos escolares entregados gratuitamente por el estado peruano, en específico de primero a quinto de secundaria y 3) establecer la vinculación de la concepción teórica de ciudadanía que prima en los textos escolares con las políticas públicas y normativas determinadas por el Estado. La investigación está organizada en tres capítulos: el capítulo I desarrolla el análisis teórico de la investigación; el capítulo II explica el marco metodológico usado en la investigación. Finalmente, el capítulo III, analiza y discute las evidencias encontradas. Es una investigación con un enfoque cualitativo, pues busca conseguir la comprensión e interpretación de la realidad educativa que se estudia. Es de tipo documental, pues su interés central es identificar las visiones teóricas de ciudadanía subyacentes en los textos escolares del Estado peruano. Para la recolección de datos se aplicó la matriz de registro de la muestra documental que ayudó a ordenar los contenidos de la muestra, empleándose la técnica de análisis documental.

The present investigation’s general objective is to analyze the theoretical models of citizenship used in the free school textbooks provided by the State. As specific objectives, the research proposes: 1) to identify the various existing theoretical visions of citizenship; 2) to identify these theoretical visions in the school textbooks provided free of charge by the Peruvian State, specifically from the first to fifth grade of secondary school, and 3) to establish the link between the theoretical conception of citizenship that prevails in the school textbooks with the determined public policies and regulations for the State. The investigation is organized in three chapters: Chapter I exposes the theoretical analysis of the investigation; Chapter II explains the methodological framework used in the research; finally, Chapter III analyzes and discusses the found evidence. This research has a qualitative approach since it seeks to achieve the understanding and interpretation of the educational reality studied. It also has a documentary framework since its central interest is to identify the underlying theoretical visions of citizenship in the school textbooks of the Peruvian State. For the data collection, the registration matrix of the documentary sample was applied, which helped to set the order for the sample’s contents; to that effect, the documentary analysis technique was used.
