In the context of sustainable cities, the study aims to know the sustainability of tourism in the Miraflores district, based on the use of different indicators, in the various sectors that make up the tourism product of the Miraflores destination. The methodology used was based on the combination of a detailed search and bibliographic review, with the application of measurement instruments (surveys and structured interviews) for each sector studied (hotels, tourists, gastronomy-restaurants and museums) and fieldwork, fundamentally in the coastal zone. Most of the instruments were developed on the basis of existing models for measuring the economic impact of MINCETUR, the profile of the tourist PROMPERU, UNESCO and UNWTO. Among the main results, in the hotel sector, the vast majority (81%) use sustainable tourism as a business strategy; being only 38% that manifests knowing the concept of sustainability. In the field of Corporate Social Responsibility, 56% of the interviewees associate this line with the donation of donations of objects to the most needy settlements and only 6% of the hotels studied have a certificate of QualitySeal. In the tourism sector, 37% of respondents mentioned knowing what sustainable tourism is; in relation to restaurants only 9.1% are participants in the Garbage Program that is not Garbage (recycling program), managed by the Municipality of Miraflores. However, in the management of beaches, there is progress in the fields of solid waste management, safety, services and environmental education. In relation to the cultural sector, the Huaca Pucllana Site Museum was the one that stood out as a good sustainable management. Although there are hotels, restaurants and museums that incorporate elements of sustainability in their daily activities, in general there is still much to do in terms of sustainability of tourism in the Miraflores district.
