Research on digital reading and its impact on the educational field have been developed in recent decades, as the evolution of technology has generated new reading spaces and concepts such as social reading, reading 2.0 and children's and youth literature on the Internet (LIJ 2.0). Previous research does not present a clear distinction between these concepts, but rather often defines them as if one term gave rise to another. In order to analyze the concept of digital reading from different perspectives, four articles that have been published mostly in Spain were analyzed. The results show a large number of research presented in books andmagazines of reading, writing and educational research studies published in Spanish and English. The results show that there is a relationship when talking about digital reading, this is usually associated with children's and youth literature online (2.0), and in turn, it is related to the concepts of sociocultural theory and cybercultural theory. This research in the educational field makes it possible to make visible the digital spaces in which learning processes take place, and that could be an effective tool to promote the reading habit.
