Objective: to determine the eating habits of nursing staff in the emergency area of a private health facility in San Martín de Porres, Lima-Peru, 2024. Materials and methods: the study presents a descriptive, cross sectional quantitative approach. The sample will consist of 10 nurses from a private health facility in San Martín de Porras-Lima and the instrument that will be used is the Healthy Eating Scale, which is the nutritional pyramid made up of 7 items and 4 dimensions (availability, access, utilization and stability). Results: It is anticipated that the study will reveal information on the eating habits of nursing staff in the emergency area, highlighting the aspects of availability, access, utilization and stability of food. This will allow identifying patterns and possible deficiencies in their nutrition. Conclusion: it is expected to conclude that the eating habits of staff are influenced by factors such as workload and availability of healthy foods. Furthermore, it is suggested that improving nutrition in the workplace could benefit both the health of staff and the quality of patient care.
