Objective: To determine the association between knowledge and practices regarding complementary feeding among mothers of children aged 6 to 24 months at the Laura Rodríguez Maternal and Child Center (C.M.I.), Comas. Materials and Methods: The research had a quantitative approach, this was an observational, cross-sectional, and correlational study. The population consisted of mothers with children aged between 6 to 24 months. The sample included 150 mothers who were administered the "Knowledge and Practices of Complementary Feeding" questionnaire to categorize knowledge into high and low level, and practices into adequate and inadequate. Results: It was found that mothers with a low level of knowledge only represent 31.33%. Regarding complementary feeding practices, the majority (66.67%) of mothers exhibit inadequate practices. A significant association (p<0.05) was found between the two variables. Conclusions: It is concluded that there is an association between the level of knowledge and complementary feeding practices. This information could be of interest to professionals and researchers in child health to consider for public health improvements targeted at this age group and to guide further research.
