In the context of Immediate Interbank Transfers (IIT) in Peru, banks are obligated to ensure the accuracy and integrity of their financial transactions. This entails meticulously reconciling the information stored in their databases with the records reported by the Electronic Clearing House (CCE). This reconciliation process refers to a meticulous comparison and alignment of data, ensuring there are no discrepancies between the two sets of information. This work aims to develop an automated system that streamlines and enhances the daily reconciliation process between the banks” databases and the CCE reports. This system should reduce the likelihood of human errors and enable a prompt and efficient response to interested parties, guaranteeing greater precision and reliability in the banks” financial operations. The automation will be based on the execution of a batch process, consisting of a series of workflows developed in a specific programming language. These workflows will allow querying the banks database, extracting the most relevant information through scripts, and then contrasting it with the data reported by the CCE. To ensure data quality and consistency, an Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) process will be applied to the CCE records beforehand. In conclusion, implementing an automated system that employs various information technology (IT) techniques represents a significant advancement in the reconciliation of IIT in Peru. This approach enables a more efficient and precise reconciliation of the various datasets mentioned, reducing the risk of human errors, and ensuring the integrity of financial operations. Furthermore, this improvement not only streamlines procedures but also strengthens confidence and transparency in the banking system, benefiting both organizations and customers.
