The objective of the research is to analyze the graphical representations of dark patterns in interface design as part of the MDA of multiplayer first-person shooter video games. It was hypothesized that these patterns are represented through the use of visual hierarchy, color and visual communication techniques. A descriptive research with a qualitative approach was conducted in which four popular video games belonging to the multiplayer FPS genre were analyzed: Apex Legends, Call of Duty: Warzone II, Valorant and Overwatch 2. In addition, interviews were conducted with an Esports video game marketing expert and an audiovisual designer specializing in video game narrative. Among the main results, it was found that visual hierarchy is applied by scale and alignment, as well as in color, a contrasting chromatic palette is used between the background and the interface elements; both present with greater emphasis on the sales items. Similarly, eight communication techniques were found that generate harmonious and dynamic spaces in the interface of the cases studied. Therefore, it was concluded that the graphic representations of dark patterns guide the player's visual path in the UI sections through an attractive design with the purpose of increasing the player's immersion and motivating him to live new experiences through microtransactions.
