The present work was to establish a quality control system for each stage that demands the welding process according to AWS D1.1 - 2015, for this we will develop welding procedures and the approval of the welders to evaluate their Dexterity in the manufacture of an industrial warehouse for the Hidromanta project. In each chapter we will detail the correct handling of the Norm corresponding to the welding process. The influence of the different properties of the steel in the welding process was analyzed and how the contributions of heat in the formation of discontinuities influences and make the interpretation according to the tables and references of the AWS D1.1 - 2015 standard. It was determined the controls that must be carried out in each stage of the welding process, from the reception of the materials, to evaluate the labor and the correct process to be used, for this procedure and instructions were elaborated that serve as a guide for the correct interpretation of the Non-Destructive Tests (NDT) to be used in the manufacturing of the industrial warehouse. Finally, the weldability of the structural elements (laminated beams) was evaluated according to the AWS D1.1-2015 standard, analyzing the equivalent carbon that influences the appearance of hydrogen and avoiding cracks in the welded areas. It is recommended to follow the guideline proposed in this project, that is, first review the study of the code, then the procedures-guide, and finally the instructions for filling the forms.
