ABSTRACT The present thesis project refers to the commercialization of eviscerated chickens in the district of San Martín de Porres, in this study an internal and external analysis of the business and market research is carried out, identifying the important factors of the demand. A financial and economic analysis will be conducted to demonstrate whether or not it is profitable and implement strategies to improve the process of operations and sales. The business is located in the B8 shop of the Sarita Colonia Shopping Center (Pacasmayo extension crossing with Carlos Izaguirre Avenue) in the district of San Martín de Porres. Through the research, it has been verified that the few businesses that develop this type of trade with the infrastructure and enthusiasts, to offer a competitive and differentiated product. Through the survey, it was noted that the female gender, is the one that the mayor frequents the market to get the chicken, the frequency of consumption of chicken meat concentrates 95% Its lower price compared to other meats. Currently the tendency is to consume the chicken meat, in the investigations that was made to confirm. The Peruvian consumes about 39 kilograms of chicken meat. In the district of San Martin de Porres consumes about 2 311 725 kilograms per inhabitant. Our market share will be 0.30%, compared to district demand. The investment of the project assumes the amount of S /. 132 390 Nuevos Soles, which will be financed 100% by My Bank at an effective monthly rate of 3.05% for the period of 36 months, which will be canceled after 3 years of initiation of the project. The Net Present Value (VAN) gave us the amount of S /. 78 392 being feasible for the project in the calculation of the 5 years and an Internal Rate of Return (TIR) of 16% making it profitable, being higher rate compared to the financial ones, which only offer up to a monthly interest rate of 7.90% . I conclude that this project is feasible and worth investing in our own business.
