The present investigation was carried out in the city of Trujillo, whose objective is to evaluate the influence of the percentage, particle size of rice husk ash and cement: sand ratio on compression, fluidity, density, porosity and durability in ecological mortars for laying. . This research has a pure experimental design. The population are all ecological mortars settled. The sample is determined by a probabilistic simple random sampling technique. The number of resulting convenient samples was 672 specimens where the relationship of the variables is treated in order to evaluate and obtain a broader data. The technique to be used will be direct observation and the instrument used in the execution of our study was the observation guide. From the results, it was possible to determine an increase in the compressive strength of up to 26%, a fluidity between 100% and 120% reduced as the percentage of replacement increases; the same happens with the density that is reduced, the porosity tends to increase and the mortar samples had a good response to the tests put in place to evaluate their durability, reducing the loss of mass, as well as the loss of their resistance to compression. It was concluded that the rice husk ash is favorable to improve the properties of the mortar.
