Currently with technology always at the forefront, with a proposal for continuous improvement in companies in both costs and quality that seek the best performance with the lowest price, organizations that do not flow with this dynamic are displaced by losing markets, which affects its productivity and the decrease in profits. In the foundry workshop is affected by this changing market which new technologies such as metallizing processes and / or use of polymers for the recovery of parts, the use of printed current in the cathodic protection of vessels displacing the anodes of zinc the use of CNC lathes (computerized numerical control) that decreases times in the elaboration of some castings. This has led to a decrease in work requests for workshop activities such as casting of zinc anodes, re-metallizing of rests with anti-friction metal, casting of brass horns for propulsion systems on boats. Which leads us to look for new market opportunities but having knowledge with the technology that will be used to avoid a high incidence in non-conforming products. The study carried out is to evaluate the feasibility of the implementation of a galvanizing plant in the SIMA CALLAO with the scope only of this company for the clients that already come to carry out maintenance to their boats, the products that most request to galvanize are their pipes that they are part of cooling systems that use salt water with an average of 10,000 kilograms per vessel. These galvanizing requirements are necessary because corrosion causes deterioration of the metal in this case to carbon steel. From which in the study we observed that the costs for corrosion reach up to 4% of GDP worldwide. Analyzing the market and its competition at a national level, the galvanizing companies have a tendency to increase in size their galvanized pits due to the constant increase in demand due to the increase in manufacturing production at national level 1.9 in its percentage variation. Which leads us to carry out our pre-feasibility study with more emphasis. It was obtained by means of engineering tools that the galvanizing process will be able to galvanize 900 Kg a day in an 8-hour shift. Analyzing our equilibrium point, we obtained that the scope given to the project with respect to the market does not obtain an expected demand that can cover the total expenses in the production, so it is concluded that the project is not viable in the projected years.
