In this research, the aim was to improve the maintenance parameters related to the agricultural machinery of the rental service provider Oblitas Tracto Parts E.I.R.L. in the agro-industrial sector in the city of Ica, Lima - Peru. The evaluation was conducted between the years 2021 and 2022, following the implementation of a maintenance management model. Firstly, the strategic objectives of the organization were identified through a SWOT analysis. The objective of improving the service availability of the company in the next 12 months was addressed. An organizational chart for the maintenance department was defined and implemented to ensure the fulfillment of maintenance activities. The asset prioritization was applied using the criticality matrix method, identifying the most critical equipment. The Pareto diagram and Ishikawa diagram were developed to determine the root cause of the problem, revealing that the lack of maintenance plans leads to availability issues, especially for the most critical asset. A scheduled maintenance plan was proposed for each system of the agricultural tractors, and its implementation was carried out. Maintenance indicators such as compliance with maintenance plans, MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), and inherent monthly availability were designed to ensure strict compliance. Finally, the evolution of the MTBF, MTTR, and availability indicators was tested using the statistical mean difference test with the parametric Student's t-test. The results demonstrated that the implementation of the maintenance management model is effective in achieving improvements in the maintenance parameters.
