The present work summarizes the agronomic management of the hybrid watermelon crop cultivar Crimson Sweet in the Palpa Valley, providing information on the taxonomy of the watermelon crop, illustrated morphological characteristics, and phenological stages while observing the difference in days between direct seeding and transplanting. It mentions the climatic, edaphic, and water requirements, as well as the physiopathies to which watermelon is exposed, including physiological problems, nutrient deficiencies, poor pollination, or inappropriate planting times for the crop. To achieve good yield results, it is essential to begin with proper land preparation (plowing, harrowing, furrowing, and leveling), ensuring good seed or seedling conditions while listing advantages and disadvantages. A nutrition program, phytosanitary program, and cultural practices are proposed based on field experiences. The focus will be on the most common problems, and it will be observed that the implemented management is based on practices that can help the crop tolerate low temperatures in winter, root rot problems, pests, and other diseases
