This prefeasibility study evaluates the commercial, technical, economic, financial and social viability of the installation of a Sacha Inchi oil-based bar soap production plant. The demand for the project for year five is 143 264,75 soaps, at a unit value of S/ 9,50. The plant will be located in the department of Lima, specifically in the district of Ate. The proposed production process consists of the following stages: inspection, saponification, cooling, drying, molding, labeling and packaging, the raw material being Sacha Inchi oil and the inputs are deionized water, natural pigments, Sacha Inchi shells and sodium hydroxide . The size of the plant is determined by the market size ratio. Subsequently, the engineering aspects of the project are developed in which the importance of product quality must be emphasized. The production process, machinery and technology to be used are described. Later, the production program is determined for a period of 5 years, estimated as the useful life of the project and the calculation of an area of 368 m² necessary for the construction of the plant, within which 13 jobs are defined. The total investment of the project will be composed of 50% equity and 50% financing, while the results of the economic and financial flow show a NPV of S/ 172 780,98 and S/ 268 127,57 and an IRR of 39,45% and 69,30% respectively. Finally, social indicators are analyzed, such as value added (S/ 1 406 656,95), capital density (S/ 33 499,6 per worker), capital intensity (0,31), capital product ratio (3,23) and labor productivity (S/ 351 664,24).
