Abstract: “Cuenta hasta diez” es un proyecto fotográfico que representa el sentir de una persona que
lidia con ansiedad. El propósito del proyecto es presentar al público una experiencia personal
y colectiva de la ansiedad para generar reflexión y conversación sobre el tema. De esta
manera, la serie cuenta con 21 fotografías y un texto que las acompaña. La temática resulta
relevante ya que, gracias a la pandemia, los casos de salud mental han aumentado. En el
proyecto se puede ver reflejada tanto la experiencia de la autora como experiencias ajenas
que fueron recogidas mediante entrevistas. Parte del proceso creativo fue incluir a otros (que
también sufren de ansiedad) para poder comunicar mejor a los diversos públicos.
"Count till ten" is a photographic project that represents the feeling of a person who deals with anxiety. The purpose of the project is to present, to the public, a personal and collective experience of anxiety to generate reflection and conversation on the subject. The photographic series has 21 photographs and one text that go with the images. The theme is relevant since, thanks to the pandemic, cases of mental health have increased. Both, the author's experience and the experiences of others that were collected through interviews, can be seen reflected in the project. Part of the creative process was to include others (who also suffer from anxiety) in order to better communicate to the various audiences.
