In the present study, the importance of the application of the retrospective theoretical calculations of the Widmark method as complementary evidence was understood, in the expert reports issued by the Decentralized Units of Ethyl Dosage PNP of the province of Lima the study was approached from the qualitative approach and Methodologically, it was framed in a basic type research, descriptive level with a non-experimental design, in which a total of nine specialists from the Decentralized Units of Ethyl Dosage PNP of the province of Lima participated. In relation to the instrumentation, the interview, the focus group analysis and the documentary verification were used, obtaining information from the specialists. The results show that currently the expert reports that contain the results of the analysis of the amount of alcohol in the blood (ethyl dosage), are not only issued in the investigations of traffic accidents or driving while intoxicated, but also in various criminal acts and administrative disciplinary infractions, however, the examinees are transferred to the Decentralized Units of ethyl dosage of the PNP for the respective sampling after two, three or even more than five hours, which definitely influences the results already issued. which does not represent the amount of alcohol present in the body at the time of the events under investigation, since, the more time elapses in the blood draw, the concentration of alcohol in the body will vary due to the metabolism of the human body that allows the elimination of alcohol with the passing of hours. It is concluded that the retrospective calculation of blood alcohol through the Widmark method can be exceptionally referentially applicable to the results of blood sample analysis, which could be of great importance for the clarification of facts considered criminal.
