The thesis had as main object, knowing the properties of the new unit masonry against physical- mechanical parameters required by the standard masonry, brick compared with most traded in San Jerónimo, Cusco. For this, the mechanical physical characteristics was analyzed by comparing the bricks over the brick marketed in San Jerónimo and the bricked bloquer Latesa, that are kind of dimensions 30x20x12 cm and 30x20x10 cm, with making this new type masonry unit ECOBLOQUER of dimensions 30x20x8 cm. It is having reached the main conclusion ecobloquer brick has lower resistance a compressive strength than type bloquer brick, taking the kind brick ecobloquer 30x20x8cm reaches a compressive strength of bricks bloquer 1.452MPa and 30x20x12cm reached a compressive strength 3.698MPa and 30x20x10cm reached a compressive strength 3.561MPa.
