The general objective of this research is to determine whether the PHVA cycle improves the care process in the diagnostic imaging service of the Regional Hospital, Cusco, 2022. A quantitative, applied, cross-sectional, non-experimental, descriptive, propositional study was carried out, using a survey and the PHVA cycle observation sheet as a tool, with which information was collected from 28 workers who met the inclusion criteria of this research study. Studies were conducted on how the PHVA Cycle will greatly help to improve the processes of care, improve the quality of services and improve the perception of users with respect to the service. The results obtained for the variable "Process of care", in its productivity dimension gave results represented in bar graphs where it can be seen that health professionals rated with totally agree, agree, undecided, disagree and totally disagree if the efficiency and effectiveness of the service is adequate. Conclusions: It is concluded that the PHVA cycle would help to improve care processes in the companies where they are applied, as well as in any organization where process improvement is necessary. Finally, it is confirmed that the PHVA cycle is an option that will help improve productivity in the diagnostic imaging service of the Regional Hospital, Cusco, 2022.
