Sexually Transmitted Infections constitute a Public Health problem, especially in adolescents and early adulthood due to situations that put their health at risk such as unhealthy behaviors. The objective of the thesis is to determine the Impact of the educational Intervention on the level of knowledge of STIs and their prevention measures in students of the Andean University of Cusco, 2022. The methodological design is longitudinal and interventional, the sample was made up of 229 students from the Professional School of Environmental Engineering from the 4th and 6th semester; The results obtained were: 27% are between 16-19 years old and 63% are between 20- 24 years old; 55% are female. The level of knowledge before the educational intervention obtained a medium level with 45% and 35% low level, after the educational intervention it changed to 93% with high level and 6% medium level. Conclusion: Regarding the proposed hypothesis, it is accepted that the educational intervention is effective by increasing the level of knowledge, concluding that the students of the Professional School of Environmental Engineering of the Andean University of Cusco have a high level of knowledge and a favorable attitude about of sexually transmitted infections.
