The realization of this study was to determine the relationship between the degree of stress and the quality of work life in employees of the hotel sector of the City of Iquitos, 2022. We opted for a non-experimental design, of applied type and descriptive - correlational level, in which 334 employees of the hotel sector were surveyed through a questionnaire, which allowed to collect the required information and data. It was concluded that, the degree of stress is medium (24%), because they perform their tasks at a hurried pace due to the amount of accumulated tasks and are often forced to work longer than stipulated. Likewise, the quality of working life is of medium level (25%), since sometimes they can participate in the decisions and the benefits, they receive in their company rarely represent the effort of their work. Finally, there is an inversely proportional and significant correlation between the degree of stress and the quality of working life, which is verified by the correlation coefficient of -0.699, obtained from the Spearman Rho Test, and a significance level (bilateral) of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. Meanwhile, the higher the level of stress in workers, the lower their quality of life at the local level.
