The purpose of this study is to explore the experience of the meaning of life of a sample of university students from Metropolitan Lima during the pandemic, in response to the theoretical and practical void evident in the literature. Through a snowball or chain sampling method, a sample of eight university students from Lima, aged between 18 to 25 years (M = 24; SD = 1.30), was obtained. A semi-structured interview guide was used. The results showed that the nodes with the highest co-occurrence were the codes Emotions (VC-E) and Life goals/objectives (VC-O) belonging to the Creation Value category. In conclusion, this study reveals that personal values and central emotions assist university students in confronting the pandemic, and despite adversity, they maintain an optimistic outlook for the future. Limitations include the sample size and reluctance to share personal details.
