In Peru, 90% of companies with fewer than 50 workers that are created have a life in the market of only 10 months, which is linked to informality and low productivity of companies. The manufacturing sector, in 2018, registered a growth of 10.3%, leading labor productivity; however, in March 2020 it decreased by 32.2%. Companies in the metalworking sector dedicated to the production of aluminum pots face an extremely competitive environment, where a large part of the market is being supplied by large companies, since micro and small companies cannot fully cover the demand. This is due to the fact that there is a gap in the business management of the MYPES, where there is a lack of knowledge of the market, an incorrect internal organization, and the lack of planned production. Faced with this situation, a Production Management method with an Agile approach is required to improve the productive management of metalworking MYPES. This research work is based on the design and application of a production management method in a manufacturing company in order to obtain better performance in production processes and in meeting demand. The results obtained show that productivity increased by 30%, the level of non-fulfillment of orders was reduced to 30% and the cycle time for the manufacture of aluminum pots decreased to 14.98 minutes.
