The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between the occupational profile and level of job satisfaction in nursing professionals from a public hospital in Chiclayo, 2023. The research method was quantitative, non-experimental, transversal - descriptive design, population made up of 206 nursing graduates. The sample was census, obtaining an 8% nonresponse percentage. Data extraction was carried out using a G-Clinic questionnaire with Cronbach's Alpha of 0.76. The data were processed with the Excel 2016 program and analyzed by the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 25. Throughout the process, criteria of ethical and scientific rigor were considered. The results obtained show that low job satisfaction occurs in young people (58%); single (68.83%); hired (60.8%); with service time of less than 10 years (59%). Likewise, those who have work experience between 1 and 20 years have a remunerative income of 1000.00 to 4000.00 soles (63%). Regarding the performance area, low satisfaction is in emergency (14.6%), nurses with rotating shifts have a medium level of satisfaction. In conclusion, the occupational profile and level of job satisfaction of nursing professionals demonstrate a variation in their simultaneous behavior, that is, if one variable improves in the same way the other will.
