The objective of this research work is to determine the degree of influence of the degree of compliance with the payment of social security contributions that must be made by the employer on the quality of life of workers in the city of Cusco in the year 2016. This was carried out a A theoretical review of the current legislation in the pension system has been carried out. Publications and statistics from the Superintendence of Banking and Insurance, in charge of the private pension system, and the database of the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics were reviewed to establish the level of quality of life of the population. The conclusions express: The degree of compliance with the payment of social security contributions that the employer has to make in the city of Cusco in 2016, reflected in the contribution index, is of the order of 42.88%. The quality of life of workers in the city of Cusco in 2016, reflected by the Human Development Index, was of the order of 0.5528 ± 0.13185. In 2016, the impact of the degree of compliance with the payment of social security contributions by the employer on the quality of life of workers in the city of Cusco was minimal. To arrive at these conclusions, the correlational method was used with the purpose of examining to what extent compliance with the payment of provisional pensions improves the quality of life of people, taking as study population residents of Cusco, aged between between 50 and 70 years old, which provide services to public and private entities, which are active, as well as unemployed and retired people. At the end of the investigation, we can affirm that the non-payment of pension contributions made by employers in relation to each of their workers becomes a problem that in the long run will result in damage to those affected (employees) which will result in the worker receiving a negligible pension in the future, having to resort in some cases to the services of a lawyer who can take legal action of a civil, criminal and labor nature that not only causes economic damage but also a non-pecuniary damage, which simply results in the contributors finding themselves in an uncertain scenario affecting their physical, emotional and psychological health, which means that a pensioner and/or retiree does not have a quality of life typical of someone who, with the hopes to have a dignified old age, is within an imperfect, harmful and permissible system for employers. Consequently, recommendations were made to solve this problem that many Peruvians are surely facing at this time.
