This study talk about the process of “Planning and generation of guidelines orders” in a publishing company had deficiencies in its sales process, due to the use of different programs, distributed in three systems: SAP R/3, SAP Portal and SAP BI, which required a huge investment of time to complete the entire process. As time went, the company decided to migrate to SAP S/4HANA, so it required a redesign of its CORE process and the implementation of a solution to deal the detected deficiencies, such as the long time that takes to complete the entire process and the rework that includes generate the master data in the system. For this reason, a custom module was designed and implemented; it integrated all the process of selling tasks into a single program, this module was divided into three phases: Master Data Maintenance, Run Planning and Mass guidelines Generation. At the end of the development, after 10 months of implementation, the sales area gave the approval once the test plan was executed, where they test the correct functionality of the solution. Which allowed its implementation in the Production Server (PRD) at the end of the eight month of the project; also, two months of technical support were added to resolve possible incidents. This implementation allowed a 64,44% reduction in the time taken to generate a guideline order, going from 45 to 16 minutes.
