This project aims to improve the low efficiency in the sewing area of a textile SME, focusing specifically on the jacket line. To achieve this purpose, an improvement proposal integrated by two components focused on Lean Manufacturing principles is applied. The first component focuses on the reduction of unproductive times with the application of tools such as SMED and 5S. While the second component focuses on standardizing work methods through Standardized Work (SW) and ECRS. The development of the work is structured in four chapters. The first chapter presents the literature review of the tools that are part of each component, this information will allow the correct application of each of these techniques. In the second chapter, the current situation of the company is explained, detailing the economic impact it generates to the company, the analysis of the problems detected and the causes that originate it. Then, in the third chapter, the steps to follow in each of the components for its application are presented. Finally, in the fourth chapter the validation of the proposal presented is carried out, in this case a pilot plan is used to verify the operation of 5s and the simulation with Arena software for SMED, SW and ECRS. Likewise, this chapter also addresses the conclusions and recommendations of the project.
