Currently, SMEs belonging to the metalworking sector have an on-time order fulfillment rate of 70% on average. However, many of them have delivery problems outside the established deadline, which generates a low OFR (Order Fill Rate). In turn, this generates dissatisfaction on customers, and, consequently, their loss due to the inconvenience and annoyance generated. Given this situation, a case study of a metalworking SME was analyzed, which has a percentage of 55.64% of orders delivered on time, being at a risk level. From this, we define that the technical gap is 14.36%. Based on this, 5S and Total Productive Maintenance tools were proposed to solve this problem, which were implemented following a stepped model under a PDCA methodology in order to achieve the desired objective and continuously improve. These were developed within a period of 11 months, with a budget of 48,298.79 soles, to finally achieve a result of 10.45% increase in the OFR indicator. With this work, the joint effectiveness of the selected tools was revealed, which managed to solve the company's problem.
