The metal mechanical industry in Peru increased its physical volume index in the 1st quarter of 2021 by 46.6% compared to 2020, thus occupying second place compared to other industries. The OEE indicator worldwide for the sector is 85.92%, which has availability, performance and quality greater than 95%. Several problems were identified in different companies in the same sector; which affect the indicators to obtain a global OEE; These problems are: lack of machine availability caused by unscheduled equipment stops, poor performance caused by low speed of machines, and low quality caused by defective products. In several articles they point out the importance of implementing Lean Manufacturing Tools to reduce these problems and thus improve availability, performance and quality; That is why, in this work, the current state of a company in the sector was analyzed, which records an OEE of 57.78%, availability of 69.31%, performance of 84.67% and quality of 98.46%. Addressing only availability and performance as it is below 95% which is the world standard. For this, a model was implemented based on: 5S, SMED and TPM: Training and Learning Pillar, Autonomous Maintenance and Planned Maintenance, in order to mitigate the hours that affect these indicators. Finally obtaining an increase of 2.36% in performance, 5.10% in availability and generating an increase in OEE by 5.96%.
