The goats in the Cruz de Caña town are the main livelihood of the ranchers in the area, which frequently suffers from droughts, being the production of hydroponic grass a viable solution to improve production and increase the income of farmers in the area, which It has a type of tropical dry climate with seasonal rains that prevent the proliferation of abundant and seasonal natural grass that can be affected by phenomena such as the coastal boy or girl. For this reason, the decision was made to carry out a study to produce hydroponic green forage (FVH); This technology is a dietary alternative for goats in desert or semi-desert climates, where a FVH production system was designed, selection of the most suitable variety of legumes and proposing a FVH production plan according to the needs of artisanal producers in the region area of Cruz de Caña Piura; For which we carried out a descriptive investigation that will establish the feasibility of the use of FVH and where it was concluded that using FVH of corn it is possible to improve the feeding of goats, their profitability and improve the income of livestock farmers in the areas, where 100 % indicated that they agreed to use FVH to improve goat production; It was determined that the cost of corn production is 0.45 soles per kilogram; Through the evaluation of the project, it is determined that the investment return period of 4 years, with a financial profitability of 25%, it was also found that the profits are 45%, making the raising of goats using hydroponic grass attractive. Another important result is the production of 4.8kg of corn FVH for each kilogram of corn, much higher than those obtained by other authors
