This thesis proposes a control management system in the rental of metal formwork through the use of some Lean Construction tools, in order to significantly reduce the cost of lost or damaged equipment during the construction process of the structure in a building. multifamily that has 6 to 17 floors in the city of Lima. The principal objective of this thesis is to analyze the current situation of the use of metal formwork in different real estate projects of RUMI company and to compare it with some random projects from other real estate companies. With this, it seeks to find how the management of the formwork is positioned in the real estate company compared to the rest and also to find which are the points with the highest risk during the current management. A benchmarking of the metallic formwork will be carried out with respect to the RUMI company projects in front of the market. The possible causes that would be causing a high cost in formwork rentals will be identified and once the causes have been identified, a more efficient management system will be proposed, in order to seek a reduction in the final cost of liquidation for lost equipment or damaged.
