The purpose of this paper is to identify the legal effects for private companies regarding the use of remote work and teleworking during the period declared by the Government of Peru during the Covid-19 pandemic. Making use of the theories of Mendoza Sulca (2021), Wojcak et al. (2016), Pulley y Sessa (2001) and Felstead y Henseke (2017), a qualitative approach methodology was used, combining the techniques of interview and literature review. In the case of the first technique, 07 representative experts of Peruvian labor law were interviewed, analyzing and processing their responses in the AtlasTi software. The second technique made use of the main sources of law, such as the current regulations, the doctrinal positions of comparative law and research articles from journals indexed to Scopus and WoS. As a general result, it is determined that the pandemic generated negative effects on private companies, the same ones that had to face, on the one hand, a precarious adaptation to the legal and organizational changes established during the period under study; as well as contain a limited legal adaptability to face the paralysis of commercial operations in the short and medium term, the reduction of its fixed costs and the search for business recapitalization. In addition, that the repercussions produced by COVID-19 were unknown to society; violating the welfare of all sectors and estates of the State; thereby demonstrating the lack of preparation and risk management for catastrophic events and socio-sanitary and business calamity.
