The construction industry is one of the driving sectors of the economy; however, it is considered as one of the most inefficient sectors, Henriquez y Suaznábar (10]. Analyzing bibliographies it was possible to conclude that digitalization is being slow, and accelerating the digital transformation of the construction sector, should be the main objective of any company dedicated to the field. Then, the transformation of the sector can only come from the hand of technology, but understanding that there is no single technology that acts as an engine of change; rather, the transformation must come through an integrated set that will allow the sector to have better results. In this sense, the present work arises in which an efficient way of managing the data obtained in a Tekla BIM model through an ERP system is shown. This report is aimed at taking advantage of the 3D BIM model, in order to automatically obtain the metering of a model generated in a project for other purposes, and these in turn be managed through an ERP system. The report was structured in six chapters, being the first introduction chapter, where the issue and the objective of this report were discussed. In the second chapter, the concepts, applications and benefits of using 3D BIM modeling systems and an ERP were discussed; Likewise, the SCOPE system, which is the ERP used in this application and owned by COSAPI S.A., was specifically discussed. In the third chapter, the scope of the project where it was applied was announced. In the fourth chapter, the modeling criteria, the catalog of elements, the user- defined attributes and other tools that allowed developing the project model in Tekla were developed. In the fifth chapter, the fields of the take-off and the Tekla Organizer tool were developed that allowed to structure the take-off and obtain it automatically. Also, other deliverables of the model are explained which allowed to achieve many more benefits in the project. In the sixth chapter, the process of integration of the Tekla Structures and the ERP system (SCOPE) was developed, the parameterization process in the PACO module and the information management in the GEDI module, both applications of the SCOPE were. Finally, examples of how the information was exploited throuhg and Tekla Structures itself are presented.
