This thesis entitled "Proposed Methodology for Determining the Social Cost of Rehabilitation of Urban Roads in Urban Public Transport" provides methodological proposals to determine the Social Value of Time (VST) and the valuation of Vehicle Operating Costs (VOC). For transportation projects two methods of valuation arises: the first method is based upon statistical analysis of assessment of income of the users, the second is through the statistical analysis of valuation expenses of carriers operators. To determine the value of both methods as a tool was used the SPSS statistical software. For the analysis of the results of research and hypothesis testing, statistical inference method is proposed, the Pearson correlation coefficient, Student's t test and the probability distribution of t-Student develops. Instrument has been used as the statistical software SPSS. A proposal to build the transportation assignment model is developed, the execution structure of five stages: (1) Collection of basic information about the road network of public and private transport, (2) Import and creation of the road network transport, (3) Zoning and connectivity of the study area, (4) Creation of the matrix O / D public transportation, (5) construction allocation model of public transport. As the instrument has been used TransCAD software. The thesis is a contribution to improving traffic and urban transport proposals raises traffic and transport system in the city of Ayacucho. Finally, a set of conclusions and recommendations resulting from the analysis described developed.
