The general objective of the research was: To establish what relationship exists between reading comprehension and learning achievements in the area of Citizen and Civic Training in students of the 5th grade of secondary school, Iquitos National School, San Juan Bautista - 2021. The research was of a correlational type of two variables in the form of association because they relate the variables: Reading Comprehension and Learning Achievements. The general design of the research will be non-experimental and the specific design was the correlational transactional one. The population was made up of 5th grade high school students from the Educational Institution National School Iquitos in 2021, making a total of 440 students. The sample was made up of 5th grade high school students from the National School Iquitos Educational Institution, San Juan 2021, making a total of 250. The sample was selected in a non-random way for convenience. The most important results are: tc = 4.62> tt = 2.92, gl = 2, alpha (α) of 0.05 concluding that: There is a statistically significant relationship between reading comprehension and learning achievements in the area of Citizen and Civic Training in 5th grade students of Secondary Education, National School Iquitos, San Juan 2021.
