The objective of this research is to formulate a strategic Human Resources Plan for the period 2023-2025, with the purpose of contributing to the strengthening of competitiveness and self-sustainability of the central clinic of a non-profit organization specialized in sexual and reproductive health. The COVID-19 pandemic generated changes in the demand for service, highlighting the need for a transformation that would enable the organization to meet market demands while maintaining its service standards. Additionally, the global economic impact has reduced the possibility of obtaining the support of cooperating entities. Therefore, the institution’s strategy to achieve optimal profitability levels that support self-sustainability is essential for achieving its objectives. The conducted diagnosis revealed that the organization currently lacks a strategic human resources plan and support that contributes to the achievement of its objectives and has not identified its sources of competitive advantage. Moreover, quantitative research conducted identified significant gaps in terms of employee and leadership perception of human resource services within the institution. The proposed strategic human resources plan will contribute to the enhancement of competitiveness and self-sustainability through strategies aimed at critical processes identified in the research, including recruitment and selection, onboarding, performance management, compensation, and benefits. In conclusion, based on the quantitative and qualitative results, the proposal is feasible.
