Research titled "PERSONAL AND INSTITUTIONAL FACTORS RELATED TO ATTITUDES TOWARDS RESEARCH IN NURSES OF THE ANTONIO LORENA HOSPITAL, CUSCO 2023" aimed to establish the relationship between personal and institutional factors and attitudes towards research in nurses of the Antonio Lorena Hospital, Cusco 2023. The methodology was correlational in scope, with a nonexperimental and cross-sectional design; the sample consisted of 110 nursing professionals who were surveyed using a questionnaire as an instrument. The results showed that 67.3% of nurses have a negative attitude towards research and 32.7% have a positive attitude. Significant relationships were found in personal factors such as: obtaining a professional degree (p=0.005), academic degree (0.000), teaching activity (p=0.000) and personal training in research methodology (p=0.000) with the attitude towards research; on the other hand, in the institutional factors, a significant relationship was found for: the ease that the service provides for research (p=0.000), the hospital carries out training courses (p=0.000), the hospital provides ease for research (p=0.000), research is conducted by the hospital (p=0.000), the hospital promotes research (p=0.000), there is interest in receiving research courses from the hospital (p=0.000) with the attitude towards research.
